About the process:

Process uses low atmospheric pressure instead of a protective gas atmosphere. Suitable for tool and die and stainless steel work.

• Prevents surface reactions (scaling and decarburization)
• Can be used to add a surface layer to parts
• Can be used to remove surface contaminants
• Process does not require furnace conditioning or carbon potential control of prepared atmospheres
